Top Berlin Exhibitions Worth Visiting Right Now

If you are in Berlin this summer, you are in one of the best cities in Europe for exhibitions. The scene is wide open: major museum shows, contemporary gallery exhibitions, and more experimental projects are all happening at once, so you can easily build a full art day around just a few stops.

One of the most interesting exhibitions to catch is Stefan Roloff. The Order of Chaos at Schloss Biesdorf, running until 27 September 2026. It is the kind of show that gives you time to visit later in the season too, which is useful if your Berlin trip is not happening immediately.

Another strong summer option is A Place To Stay at Spreepark Art Space, which runs until 1 November 2026. That longer run makes it especially appealing if you like exhibitions that feel site-specific and a little more open-ended than a standard gallery show.

If you prefer contemporary gallery exhibitions, Allan McCollum: A Moment in Time: Drawings 1991–1992 and Richard Deacon: Just Looking, both at Galerie Thomas Schulte, are excellent choices and both run until 15 August 2026. These are the kinds of exhibitions that reward a slower visit and a closer look.

Berlin is especially strong because it does not force you to choose between the big and the small. On one day, you can see an institutional exhibition, then move on to a gallery show, then finish with something more unusual or project-based. That variety is part of what makes the city feel so alive for art lovers.

A few other exhibitions are also worth noting if you are planning ahead. Brücke / Natur Natur / Brücke at the Brücke-Museum runs until 25 October 2026, Learning from … Nature at the same museum stays on view until 31 December 2026, and Nikification. Niki de Saint Phalle and Germany at Galerie Judin | Mercator Höfe runs until 22 August 2026. Together, they show how Berlin moves easily between art history, contemporary ideas, and more playful or thematic curating.
